[edit] Split, rewrite, update!

This person makes two: Philippe-the-elder and Philippe-the-younger — which has been proved in 1980's. Michael Grinberg (talk) 19:52, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

I think that would be the father, fr:Philippe de Beaumanoir (1210-1265), who is mentioned in the article already. Sandstein (talk) 22:20, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you! But there are still some problems left:
  • Philippe de Beaumanoir seems to have never borne a de Remi title and he was not a sire de Beaumanoir, while according to Amedée Salmon's edition, the explicit names him as "Phelippes de Beaumanoir" (Coutumes, §1982). Shall we rename the article?
  • The link Philippe de Rémi currently redirects back to the article about the son.

To make it all clear: doesn't anybody mind if I correct these two issues?
