[edit] Sourcing

I'm concerned with the lack of sources in this article, especially for the "Controversies" section. There appears to be no backing for any of the claims made in it - are there articles, references, etc., that could be inserted there? Tony Fox (arf!) 16:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I have removed all unsourced criticism. I will add some back as I obtain sources. Other cats mentioned in criticism section regarding IJF and Kodokan are well-known facts sourced elsewhere on Wikipedia. I will, nevertheless, later add citations for those facts here as well. --David from Downunder (talk) 00:43, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for looking into this. I initiated the request that this article be reviewed in light of the unsubstantiated criticism of the subject. I have added further remarks in Dave from Downunder's talk page. Soothsayer12 (talk) 01:51, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] COI

It wasn't clear to me what this was referring to; I found it and for ease of lookup, it is here: [1] JeremyMcCracken (talk) (contribs) 06:28, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
