[edit] Marino comparison
thats probably the stupidest comparison ive ever heard, chad pennington after his rotator cuff injury is a more suitable comparison with an arm like rivers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.15.153.255 (talk) 15:51, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Philip Rivers dons an eye shield, which gives him unusualy throwing power and accuracy unrivaled by enemy Drew Brees.
wtf, "magic eye shield"?
- *rolls eyes*...
- And his "enemy Drew Brees"? Seriously, Whisky Tango Foxtrot? --The Kevin 14:39, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
what SD fan wrote this? after all the trash talking he's done this year and his subpar performances, he's not only hated but also just not that good. there's no mention of either in this article. 71.162.83.97 (talk) 06:46, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Went ahead and changed "NCAA's second all-time leading passer" to "third all-time", as the list now goes Timmy Chang 1, Ty Detmer 2, Rivers 3.--65.80.34.15 00:59, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
I've done some substantial cleanup to the article, including removing the "College Stats & Accolades" section, which was a copyvio from the Chargers' website in the external links. The article now appears to be written in a sufficiently formal tone. Does anyone object to the maintenance tag being removed now? -Elmer Clark 07:01, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- Go for it, good work. Megamanic 08:50, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2007 season
Was adding some news about his injury towards the end of the 2007 season when I noticed that there is no information about it. What happened to whoever went to all the trouble for 2006?
Anyway, remedied it for now. Greggykins (talk) 16:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
