Talk:Philip Jessup
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am going to add more information about Jessup in the coming days. This article was blatantly POV. It assumed that the accusations of Communist sympathy leveled against Jessup during the 1950s were true and alotted undue attention to his involvement in IPR. While a neutral discussion of those accusations and his involvement in that organization is in order, it is unfair to focus on such a small part of his career.
I edited out the worst comments, while leaving what I believe to be a neutral summary of the Communist accusations against him.--JVB
- I agree some of it may have appeared POV, though not intentionally and it does not a degree of balancing. Removing the souring from Hearings before the Senate subcommittee investigating the Institute of Pacific Relations however, is not going to work, or any citations derived therefrom. I hope we can work together to achieve a fair balance and accurate picture. Thank you. Nobs01 17:01, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
