[edit] Cleanup

"In 1971, Nike, Inc. was born and Knight began his journey as one of the greatest entrepreneurial stories of the 20th century" This has a hagiographical tone. It needs to be changed to comply with NPOV. 84.64.138.40 13:58, 5 September 2007 (UTC)tarma_2002

I ran "Knight was an Eastmoreland kid who loved to run" through Google and got this article: http://www.kennymoore.us/bbbook/media/jeff_baker_oregonian.htm I believe much of the article is a copy and paste, judging by its journalistic tone. Definitely needs cleanup. Thanks for pointing it out. Katr67 14:37, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flow

There is some content that refers to the beginnings of Nike, then it goes on to the controversy that began around 2000. It seems like more needs to be said about his accomplishments at Nike and the bit about him resigning needs to be moved out of the intro and put into chronological order somehow. I think the Michael Moore bit can stay roughly where it is, and the philanthropy section belongs at the end. Somewhere we need to add more about the middle and end of his tenure at Nike.
