[edit] Minor grammatical changes 03/15/2007
I removed the 4 sentence section titled "NBA coaching" and put the information into either the Bulls or Lakers section where appropriate. I also cleaned up some of the passive voice. There is still a lot of repetition, and if there's no objection to this minor edit, I'll do a little more serious one.
I'm not changing content, just the order/readability. Opinions? --Legomancer 22:18, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
This article definitely needs more cleanup in regards to grammar and readability. I don't feel comfortable doing it myself, but I can definitely see that this is very poorly written. 70.113.121.183 (talk) 00:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Someone needs to say that Phil is a piece of crap 'cause he won't take the Knicks position, he didn't give Kukoc's game enough respect, and he wants to impose the triangle offense rather than working with his players and making use of their strengths. -Amit
- Yeah, forget about NPOV and defamation. Trekphiler 06:44, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "future Hall of Famers" Payton and Malone
Even though everybody know they will be inducted, isn't speculation on future events frowned upon on this here encyclopaedia? Suggest removing. elpincha 23:39, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] 10 Rings?
I don't understand how Phil Jackson has only 10 rings. Don't they still give you a ring ni the NBA if you are Injuried for an entire season?
[edit] Race
Is he white or black? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.183.86 (talk) 06:47, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bulls vs. Lakers
How come the section on the Bulls is comparitively short when Jackson spent the majority of his career there? Mrmaroon25 01:25, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 156
Can anybody say the date he did it? Trekphiler 06:44, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New Jersey Nets
According to this link (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jacksph01.html), he played for the Nets from 78 to 80. Right now, the page only lists the Knicks. What's correct?
[edit] Brokeback Mountain comment
Ah come on, that stupid Brokeback Mountain comment is not worthy of being in here. That's so stupid. If you were reading a biography on him in fifty years, you wouldn't find that statement in even a 300 page book. I'm taking it out. This is the first time he's ever said anything like this. It really doesn't say anything about him. It was an isolated incident. Everybody has said something insensitive about an entire group of people before. It's really unfair.
