What was Phil Crane's Ph.D. in?

History, I believe. LeoO3 08:28, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I spoke with Mr. Crane last week and he was never a staff member to then former VP Richard Nixon.

[edit] Political Defeat

I'm curious. Crane was a GOP golden boy in the 1970s and early 1980s. Why did he just fall of the radar screen? Did he anger somebody? Was something going on? I always got the idea the GOP was treating him like a redheadded stopchild. Can this story be told? Yakuman 11:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
