Kappa Psi is actually the oldest & largest professional pharmaceutical fraternity. It was founded on May 30, 1879 at the Russell Military Academy in New Haven, CT.


.....Kappa Psi was founded as a literary society; it did form a chapter at a pharmacy school until 1898, which was well after Phi Delta Chi was founded.

Founded is founded regardless of what they were at that time. Technically, PDX was PX until 1910. So, either way you look at it, KY wins in this regard.

That's flawed logic. If starting tomorrow, Phi Beta Kappa only admitted Pharmacy students, would it gain the title of "Oldest Pharmacy Fraternity"?
