Class sizes stay around 25-33 students. The staff roster has 36 teachers, 12 support staff, two in the counseling department, a principal and a vice principal. The school has three athletic seasons, totaling 18 teams.
[edit] Graduation requirements
To graduate from the Philomath High School, a student has to complete a senior project. Before 2007, this was required only of PHS students; since it has become an Oregon law, fulfilling the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. Because of this change, the Philomath High senior project has been modified to include the new standards; a small sheet which requires a student to fill out a small description of how they have met certain requirements that are deemed important for a post-high school career.
[edit] The Clemens Grant
A controversial scholarship fund set up for graduates of Philomath High School was the subject of the documentary Clear Cut: The Story of Philomath, Oregon.
