Phillip de Fremery

Phillip de Fremery (born May 2, 1946) is an American classical guitarist who studied under Andres Segovia and Oscar Ghiglia, eventually becoming Ghiglia's personal assistant at the Aspen Music Festival and School. In 1995 he began the project of transcribing Segovia's unpublished recordings without the help of manuscripts, later published in 2001 as the Transcripciones[1]. He currently lives and teaches in the Pioneer Valley region of Massachusetts.
