Established on July 1, 1993, the Philippine Science High School Western Visayas Campus is one of the campuses of the Philippine Science High School System located in Brgy. Bito-on, Jaro, Iloilo City. It admits and grants scholarships to students who are gifted in science and mathematics. Most of the students come from the Western Visayas and Central Visayas Regions and occasionally from the Eastern Visayas Region. The students hailing from provinces such as Iloilo, Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, Antique, Aklan, Bohol, Cebu, Capiz, Siquijor, Romblon thus come from a diverse background. The current Director is the famous Dr. Josette T. Biyo who has an asteroid named after her, 13241 Biyo.

The pioneer class of the WV Campus spent their first year at one of the facilities of the University of the Philippines in Leganes, Iloilo, while the new campus was completing construction. Formal classes started at the new campus on the school year 1993-1994.

The campus is considered by many early students as the primary witness to the progress of Iloilo City. This is so, because during the early years of the campus, it was the only concrete structure amidst acres of rice fields, whereas now, it is right in the middle of a sprawling upper class subdivision.
