Philip Wheeler (born December 12, 1984 in Columbus, Georgia) is a linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. He played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He was drafted in the third round by the Colts in the 2008 NFL Draft.[1]

Wheeler attended Shaw High School in Columbus, Georgia and was a student and a standout in football. In football, he was a four-year letterman, helped lead his team to a Georgia State Title as a sophomore, and as a senior, he was named as an Honorable Mention All-Region selection by PrepStar and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution named him as a first team Class AAAA All-State selection.
