Philip Verdon (born February 22, 1886 - died June 18, 1960) was a British rower who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics.

He was the strokeman of the British boat, which won the silver medal in the coxless pairs.He was educated at Westminster school London and then at Jesus College Cambridge.In later life he became a consultant Ophthalmologist and served in the Indian Medical Service.His elder son George was also a rower, who served in the Royal Navy during world war 2 on the Russian Convoys, and at the allied D Day landings in Normandy.
