Philip Roosevelt (investment counselor)

Philip James Roosevelt (August 22, 1928-November 15, 1998) was a cousin of President Theodore Roosevelt, a Roosevelt family historian, and an investment counselor.

Roosevelt attended St. Mark's School of Southborough and Harvard University. Roosevelt was born in New York city but spent much of his young life between a home there and the family's home in Cove Neck.

Roosevelt was an officer of numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Oyster Bay Historical Association, the Laymen's National Bible Association, the Oyster Bay Sailing Foundation and the New York Diabetes Foundation.
