Philip McGough

Phillip McGough is an English television actor.
McGough was cast as secret service detective Edwin Woodhall in the Alan Bleasdale-written drama The Monocled Mutineer
McGough is famous for playing the character of "Arnie" in a classic episode of Only Fools and Horses - 'Chain Gang'. Arnie was a retired jeweller whom Del bought a number of gold chains from, only to witness Arnie having an apparent heart attack before an important business transaction. However, Del and his consortium soon discovered Arnie had been tricking them all and been scamming people all over the city. The episode ends with Del, Boycie, Trigger and Rodney taking Arnie away in an ambulance, with Arnie visibly shaken about being found out. The episode ends with Del remarking "Now, Arnie, calm down. You might give yourself an 'eart attack!"
In 2006, he guest-starred in the audio drama Sapphire and Steel: Perfect Day.
