A physics and math teacher at Holmdel High School, in New Jersey, Keller has developed many simulations for the award-winning educational software program, Interactive Physics. The program uses computer simulations to let users observe, discover, and explore the physical world. Keller was noted for encouraging his students to write their own simulations for the program. Keller has also written a book in his free time about strategies for taking the math SAT called Keller's Math SAT Game Plan published by DNA press. He also assists students in preparing to take the SAT and PSAT.

Winner of the prestigious IEEE Educational Activities Board Award for outstanding achievements in educational activities. Teacher of the Year at Holmdel High School in New Jersey for the 2005-2006 school year.
