Philip Goodrich

Philip Henry Ernest Goodrich was an Anglican Bishop [1] for nearly quarter of a century. Born on 2 November 1929 he was educated at Stamford School and St John's College, Cambridge [2]. After this he studied for ordination at Ripon College Cuddesdon followed by a Curacy at Rugby in Warwickshire[3]. Between 1957 and 1961 he was Chaplain of his old college before Incumbencies at Ormsby and Bromley. Elevated to the Episcopate as Suffragan Bishop of Tonbridge[4] he was translated to Worcester in 1982. He died on 22 January 2001..
