Philip Evans (headmaster)

Philip Evans is an educationalist and Head Master of Bedford School. At Churchill College, Cambridge he read Chemistry. He was appointed to his current post in 1991 while he was a government advisor on education, in which capacity he served the Major and Blair administrations . He is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference, and the only member of that group to be honoured as an Officer of the British Empire.
