The Philadelphia Growl is a professional inline hockey team based in Voorhees, New Jersey. They are members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA). Part of the 2002 PIHA Expansion, the Growl were the first expansion team to win the Founders Cup in 2005 and again in 2006. Most recently, the team won the Northeast Division championship in 2006-07 and made the playoffs where they were upset in the first round by the Connecticut Blaze two games to one.
For the 2006-07 season, the Growl moved to a new arena for their home games. They moved to the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. Previously, they played their home games at the Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA.
