Phil Varone (born October 15, 1967) is a drummer who has played in several bands, including Saigon Kick, Prunella Scales, and Skid Row. He played with bassist Rachel Bolan in both Prunella Scales and Skid Row.
He reportedly also briefly played with Vince Neil, along with his former Saigon Kick touring bandmate Jeff Blando.
With Skid Row, he played on the album Thickskin. He has since been replaced in Skid Row by drummer Dave Gara.
Phil is also a stand up comic combining his touring and rock and roll persona with a bona fide stand up act. He can be seen in Los Angeles where he hosts a monthly rock and roll show at the Improv on Melrose.
Phil appeared in an episode of Miami Ink in which he got a tattoo of his son's name from Darren Brass. He also appeared on Identity, where he was correctly matched to his identity as a rock and roll drummer.
