Phil Sgrosso is the former guitarist for extreme metal outfit Tomra and current guitarist for the metalcore band As I Lay Dying.
Along with appearing on the 2007 retrospective A Long March, Phil co-wrote the album Shadows Are Security and An Ocean Between Us. Phil has been a member of As I Lay Dying since October 2003.
Phil was born on September 16, 1985 in San Diego, California. He grew up in Oceanside, California, and graduated from Vista High School in June 2003.
Phil's favourite bands include In Flames and Iron Maiden, both of which As I Lay Dying has toured extensively with. His favourite movies include Point Break, Airheads, Batman Begins, and Terminator 2.
