Phil Morrison (driver)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Phil Morrison (born 1977) is an English drift driver from Birmingham, who started drifting in 2004. He won the D1 GB 2006 Championship on 3rd September at Silverstone. He led the championship going into the final round (D1 Grand Prix). Morrison operates Driftworks, a mail-order drift-specific performance parts and merchandise store based in England, supplying the UK and Europe.

Phil drove a Nissan 200sx S14a -the facelift- (some markets Silvia/240sx) in the 2006 season but will drive an S15 Silvia Spec R with a Toyota Supra engine for the 2008 season (the S15 wasn't ready for the 2007 EDC season so he borrowed a teammates R32 Skyline GTS with a best result of 2nd due to car troubles). His main sponsors are Driftworks, Japaneseusedcars.com and Federal tyres.
