Phil Hardy is an English film and music industry journalist. He was the founding editor of Music & Copyright[1], a bi-weekly journal offering news and analysis on the music industry. He has written or edited several books on music and film, including Samuel Fuller (1970), The Faber Companion to 20th Century Popular Music (1990), and The BFI Companion to Crime (1997). He is also the chief editor and contributing writer of the The Aurum Film Encyclopedia.
