Phidiana militaris is a species of sea slug, an aeolid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Glaucidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, in the North Island, and the South Island north of Banks Peninsula.

This aeolid is found from intertidal rock pools to depths of up to 20 m.
[edit] Description
The body is very long and narrow, transparent, with an orange to reddish-brown head.
Its length is up to 42 mm, or nearly 1 and 3/4 inches.
