This is a photograph of an oil-on-wood-panel painting of Philip Hone. Painted by John Wesley Jarvis in 1809. As of 2007, the painting hangs in the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, California. The DeYoung museum permits still photography by the general public provided that no flash or tripod is used:

Still photography allowed except in special exhibition galleries. No video, tripods, or flash photography.

The painter's copyright is expired.
