[edit] Useful reading
Have a look at WP:CONSENSUS.--Addhoc (talk) 18:45, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Not sure from your comment on my talk page whether you have read and understood the policy. If the consensus of editors disagree with you, then I suggest you should accept this, instead of continuing to revert. If you have persuasive arguments, then by all means express them, however simply reiterating your position is unlikely to resolve the disagreement. Addhoc (talk) 19:07, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Children's Card Games
You are wasting your time turning it into an article, these are not just children's games and the correctly named Collectable card games has plenty of content on them. Add your content there instead. -- Roleplayer (talk) 18:51, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- But the games you are listing are not all played by children, neither are they solely aimed at children. If there was too much information about children's games in the existing article, then a split may be appropriate. There is not, so it is best left as a redirect. -- Roleplayer (talk) 19:03, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

- I do know what you are talking about. See my last response for why that still doesn't make a difference. -- Roleplayer (talk) 23:24, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] St. Vincent de Paul Elementary & Junior High
We mean no disrespect, but the section about writing business letters is not noteworthy enough for Wikipedia. It may be helpful to think of Wikipedia as just a big version of a printed encyclopedia -- if you pulled an encyclopedia off of the library shelf and looked up St. Vincent's school, you probably wouldn't expect the fact that 9th graders write business letters to be mentioned. I'm sorry, but I have removed the "Business Letters" section. You might find WP:Notability an interesting read, which discusses the notability standards on Wikipedia. Fogster (talk) 00:00, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you're referring to about 60%. It looks like the linked article was deleted per the standards in WP:Speedy_delete#Criteria. By the way, it's no big deal, but when leaving comments on a talk page, it's customary to leave the note at the bottom of the page. Otherwise it's easy to miss the comment, since everyones' eyes instinctively jump to the bottom of a talk page to see new comments. Anyway, welcome! Don't let the fact that your material was deleted make you think you're note welcome. Fogster (talk) 00:06, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Tall, Taller, And Teller
A tag has been placed on Tall, Taller, And Teller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rob Banzai (talk) 22:54, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tall, Taller, And Teller
I think this page should be permitted to remain on Wikipedia as I beleive it is important. Monty Python has their own page, and Tall, Taller, And Teller is similar to it, therefore, I think it should stay. Pheonex (talk) 23:01, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Tall, Taller, And Teller
A tag has been placed on Tall, Taller, And Teller, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornixtalk 23:14, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] May 2008
Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. BencherliteTalk 23:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- If and when your TV show is made, broadcast and becomes as influential, well-known and enduring as Monty Python, then you can start talking about the two being equivalent. Until then: (1) please stop writing articles about things that you yourself are involved in: see Wikipedia's position on conflicts of interest; (2) read up about the need for articles to have verifiability and reliable sources, something your article completely lacked; and (3) a study of What Wikipedia is not may be productive too. Regards, and happy editing. BencherliteTalk 23:22, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

- Thanks for your question. Having something posted on YouTube isn't enough to demonstrate notability for Wikipedia purposes. See Wikipedia:Notability (web). Regards, BencherliteTalk 23:32, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
