[edit] Computer software
The Computer software article received heavy editing today by new/unregistered users, which I noticed at WikiRage.com. The article may benefit from a good review. According to Wikipedia Page History Statistics, you are one of the top contributors to that page. If you have the time, would you please read over the article and make any necessary changes. Thanks. -- Jreferee (Talk) 19:40, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
... for fixing Template:Australian Politics Suburb. I got a couple of odd complaints overnight about implementations of it and couldn't figure out why it looked perfectly normal when I looked :) Orderinchaos 21:06, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] speedy tag
When placing a speedy deletion tag on a template or a redirect in the template namespace, please consider enclosing it in <noinclude></noinclude>, to avoid causing pages that transclude it showing up in CAT:CSD. —Random832 18:15, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] WAN
You corrected my acronym error in World Association of Newspapers; but I didn't quite understand your explanatory edit summary. Could you try to explain again using different words? I think there's something crucial here which I should have come to understand before now. I suspect that I'm missing something fundamental.
Please look at International Freedom of Expression Exchange#Members of IFEX. Look at the acronymns. I begin to worry that every one of these acronymn links represents a wiki-error? --Ooperhoofd (talk) 18:39, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Aha! Thank you. Your edit seems elegant -- very nice. I will re-visit other articles where I could have handled acronyms more effectively. Apparently I needed just this one more step, the illustrative examples ... and now I do understand. The following is an example of my first edit using the method you've suggested:
- The Bavarian State Library (Bayerische Staatsbibliothek or BSB) is a participant in the project.[1]
