[edit] Additional tips
Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
- You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
- If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
- If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.
- Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Once again, welcome.

P.S. Hope to see you around the Wiki! And if you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to contact me on my talk page!
Please join us for the next Wikipedia:Bootcamp every night at midnight EST (2100 PST, 0500 UTC) to learn the ropes, or leave a message on our talk pages around that time for on-wiki help.
[edit] Thanks for Pics
Hi, thanks for PAC Cresco and 750XL Pics - dunno how you got them - I emailled PAC requesting release of some from their web site and never got a reply :-). Anyway, since you do have contacts there, is their any chance you could get pics to illustrate the Fletcher Fu24 and Pacific Aerospace articles? Winstonwolfe 05:09, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tui Award Winners 1965
I don't know if you're aware of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tui award winners 1965. You might like to add to the discussion there about the articles you're creating. Saying how much you think each article might be expanded eventually would be helpful.-gadfium 19:30, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:John Kirwan.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:John Kirwan.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:05, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Skydivingcresco.jpg
An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Skydivingcresco.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Liftarn 09:51, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Skydivingcresco.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Skydivingcresco.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shell babelfish 00:21, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Mil 8 fire.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Mil 8 fire.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:54, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
