What is pharmacodynamics? I think this pharmacodynamics page needs a major overhaul. It is currently a mix of ligand binding theory very loosely connected to real pharmacodynamics i.e. the relationship between concentration and response. The ligand binding figure is mis-labelled 'dose response' (dose and concentration are NOT the same). It also uses 'efficacy' inappropriately. Efficacy in a pharmacodynamic context refers to the maximum possible effect of a drug (Emax). Would whoever provided the 'dose-response' figure please consider producing a more accurately labelled replacement? NHGH 11:37, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
