Phatso is the title of a 2006 album released by Jamie Madrox of the Psychopathic Records group Twiztid. It is considered to be Madrox's first solo release, though he had previously released two other CDs under the pseudonym/alternate identity of Mr. Bones. The title of the album makes reference to Madrox's style of music, which many consider to be "phat", as well as to his size (he was taunted as a child for being overweight.) An obvious take on the derogatory nickname "Fatso", Madrox used the title as a means to turn this negative stereotype into a positive statement about himself and his music.
Phatso was released on Psychopathic Records on May 16, 2006 and contains 14 tracks. In its first week of release, Phatso reached number one on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and number three on the Billboard Top Independent Albums chart.
