Phatfish and Lou Fellingham (2007-Present) |
Phatfish and Lou Fellingham is the title of a series of ongoing concerts being played by Christian band Phatfish, and their lead singer Lou Fellingham.
Previous live appearances by the band had been titled Phatfish, but due to the release of Lou Fellingham's debut album Treasure in 2006, and the appearance of some of her songs in the setlist, her name was incorporated into the title.
Lou Fellingham had previously performed songs from Treasure on a "Stu and Lou" Tour, with Stuart Townened in 2006 and early 2007, before work on the latest Phatfish studio album started. Guaranteed was released in July 2007, and instead of an official Guaranteed tour, Phatfish opted to play one-off shows, titling them as "Phatfish and Lou Fellingham".
Many of the shows were played at events such as Newday, organised by Newfrontiers, or Souled Out. Songs were played from the Phatfish albums Purple Through The Fishtank, Heavenbound, Nothing But The Truth, Faithful and Guaranteed, and some from Lou Fellingham's Treasure. The song "Rise Up" was accompanied by a video projection, which can be found on YouTube.
Phatfish and Lou also supported Stuart Townend on two second nights in Cheltenham and Wrexham, with less dynamic lighting and a more acoustic sound.
