Phase 4 Stereo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Phase 4 Stereo was a branch of London Records created in 1961. Phase 4 Stereo supposedly created better sound by being recorded by a 10 and later 20 channel recording console.[1] Approximately 200 LP's were released under the label ranging from ones emphasising tricks with the sound travelling from speaker to speaker, to ones featuring percussion effects and historical records with sound effects to popular music. In 1964 a light classical Phase 4 "Concert series" was produced.
