Pham Quoc Hung

Pham Quoc Hung (1966, Huế), Vietnamese painter.
Pham Quoc Hung is a Vietnamese artist born during 1966 in Huế, a city with a rich artistic history and once the capital of Vietnam Dynasty. He studied art at the Huế Fine Arts University where he graduated in 1992. Immediately after graduation, Hung began showing his work in a number of exhibits while his wife managed a gallery in Hoi An. Hung works in a variety of mediums including oil painting, woodblock, and traditional Vietnamese silk paintings. Pham Quoc Hung currently lives with his wife and son in Seattle, Washington.
Pham Quoc Hung has participated in group exhibitions in Vietnam, France (1992, Paris), Malaysia (1996, Kuala Lampur), and USA (2001, 2006, Seattle).
