From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Phaeax (Greek: Φαίαξ), in Greek mythology, was a son of Poseidon and Cercyra, from whom the Phaeacians derived their name. (Diod. iv. 72 ; Steph. Byz. s. v. Φαίαξ) Conon (Narrat. 3) calls him the father of Alcinous and Locrus.
