[edit] Map correction
Manila's map should be rectified to show a small strip of land of the Cultural Center complex as part of Manila. Please refer to [1]. I have made visits to the Manila City hall, and their maps show that Manila's and Pasay's boundary is projected perpendicularly from Roxas Blvd., showing Manila's jurisdiction over an isosceles shape strip of land in the CCP complex, as well over the Manila south cemetery as an enclave within Makati. - Yeah, yeah. I'll get to it. Eventually. I'm still debating whether I'd stick with the old raster image or make it into an SVG image. The problem with SVG is that I can't control the fonts unless I convert the text into outlines too. Anyway, I want to have a comprehensive list of changes that need to be made, see below. --seav 23:44, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Corrections:
- Boundary between Manila and Pasay at the CCP complex should run perpendicular from Roxas Blvd. and into the corner of the reclaimed area.
- Fix the boundary between Caloocan and Manila near the cemeteries; almost all of La Loma Cemetery is in Caloocan.
- Manila South Cemetery is an enclave of Manila in Makati.
- San Lazaro Hippodrome should be deleted and in its place put SM City San Lazaro.
- Laong-Laan St. is now Nicanor Roxas.
- Paco-Sta. Mesa Rd. is also named Tomas Claudio.
- Part of Tayuman in Tondo should be C-2.
- Remove Smokey Mountain?
- San Andres and Sta. Mesa are now districts in their own right, not just subdistricts.
- Some train (PNR) stations, such as Vito Cruz and Santa Ana, are missing

- Delineation of Manila's districts vis-a-vis its congressional districts. Scorpion prinz 13:39, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

- How about adding the location of the Arch of the Centuries? --Howard the Duck 12:32, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

- Why? If that's so, should you then pinpoint the exact location of Rizal's monument? and other monuments in Manila? Scorpion prinz 02:23, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Updated
Please see Image:Ph map manila.svg in the Wikimedia Commons. The Manila-Pasay and Manila-Caloocan boundaries are fixed. Manila South Cemetery is linked to Sta. Ana. SM City San Lazaro replaced San Lazaro Hippodrome. And basically all bulleted points above are fixed. I haven't indicated the district boundaries since I have no source for that. --seav 10:01, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
