Pham Xuan An was a student at Orange Coast College [community college] in Costa Mesa, CA, where he studied journalism from 1957-59 and was on the staff of the newspaper, the Barnacle. His instructor the first year was Thomas Burdick. This is confirmed by the OCC yearbooks. This addition has been made by a former classmate from 1957-58. Several obits have erroneously stated he studied in Fullerton, CA, and one erroneously says Fullerton College. See also RFA article from 2005 by Dan Southerland. A biography was published in Singapore a few years ago, but doesn't show up now on web searches. Perhaps someone can locate it? --—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.46.196 (talk • contribs) (copied from main article)
