[edit] Image Tagging
Thanks for uploading Image:Gronaldo.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Until a more informative tag is provided, it will be listed as {{unverified}}. Could you add a better tag to let us know its copyright status? If you made the image yourself, an easy way to deal with this is add {{gfdl}} if you're willing to release it under the GFDL. Alternatively, you could release it into the public domain instead, by adding {{PD-self}}. However, if it isn't your own image, you need to specify what free license it was distributed under. You can find a list of the tags here. If it was not distributed under a free license, but you claim fair use, add {{fairuse}}. If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images by posting to my talk page. If you do this, I can tag them for you. Thanks so much, Superm401 | Talk July 1, 2005 00:46 (UTC)
[edit] More image tagging
Hi, when you uploaded Image:MapleRidgeArtDeco.JPG, you didn't say what license it's under. Since you stated you took the photo yourself, I assume you meant to license it under the GFDL, like all content at Wikipedia, so I put the {{GFDL-presumed}} tag on it. I did this because it had already been tagged for deletion for not having a license, but I thought that was unfair when it's clear you yourself are the author. It would be great if you could go to the image and replace my {{GFDL-presumed}} tag with either {{GFDL-self}} (if you want to release it under the GFDL) or {{PD-self}} (if you want to release it into the public domain). [edit] Image tagging for Image:CainsBallroom.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:CainsBallroom.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:MapleRidgeArtDeco.JPG
Thank you for uploading Image:MapleRidgeArtDeco.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:MapleRidgeArtDeco.JPG, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at User talk:Angr or at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 10:26, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please use edit summaries
Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be extremely low:
- Edit summary usage for Pfox7: 3% for major edits and 50% for minor edits. Based on the last 60 major and 2 minor edits in the article namespace.
Using edit summaries helps other editors quickly understand your edits, which is especially useful when you make changes to articles that are on others' watchlists. Thanks and happy editing! --Kralizec! (talk) 19:14, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
