Pfalzen (Italian: Falzes) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 100 km northeast of Trento and about 50 km northeast of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,373 and an area of 33.3 km².[1]

The municipality of Pfalzen contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Grimaldo and Issengo.

Pfalzen borders the following municipalities: Bruneck, Kiens, Gais, St. Lorenzen and Mühlwald.
