[edit] Szepes/Spiš

I wrote the appropriate way on the Talk:Spiš county page: WP:RM. Since you're relatively new, this Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page might be of help to you as well. What you did (repeatedly) was a cut-and-paste move. This page Wikipedia:How to fix cut and paste moves explains what is wrong with that. WP:RM explains which steps to take.

I'll answer your question about previous discussions on Talk:Spiš county. Markussep 14:03, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hungary

Please do not take out the statement of the counties being subdivided into subregions. This is accurate, and applicable in the definition of administrative units of Hungary. Thanks! :) Rarelibra 18:18, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More Hungary

The original I used was a composite. Believe it or not, I spent a lot of time going to each and every article I could in wiki, then switching to the Magyar version, and seeing if there was a home page or official website for the county or subregion. I don't speak Magyar, mind you, but I knew enough that I had to look for "terkep" for some kind of map. I happened upon THIS website, which was from Jan 2006 and had excellent closeups of the subregions (once you click on them). I used that as a basis as well. So the 'original' is now my work. The software I use is MapInfo Professional (v8.5).

I would love to have your help in defining any of the 'changes' or 'corrections' that you had to make, seeing as I keep a database of administrative units (see the image to the right). That way, I can ensure that my information is up-to-date.

Thanks! :) Rarelibra 12:48, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

thanks for helping with the corrections to the subdivision names - my software doesn't allow me to do some accents, for some reason. Rarelibra 14:20, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Csepel

I do not deny that, just the phrase "Budapest part of an island" is a bit strange, don't you think? How to rephrase that? I mean the northern part is correct, while I didn't say the northern HALF of the island. Squash Racket 15:24, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
