In the strict sense you are right. The essay was originally written for a different audience and in french, where the term thermo-nucléaire is not defined that narrowly in the public mind. However I am happy someone bothered to read it here; feel free to make any changes that you think in any of the essays I post to my User page - this is Wikipedia!
