[edit] Marksman
I have just created a new article On Mark Marksman appreciate you expert input. MilborneOne (talk) 18:16, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Updated as suggested - you may be like to check the operational history section which has been added by another user. MilborneOne (talk) 18:26, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- You may also be interested in On Mark Engineering. It needs filling out a lot more and in particular needs references and citation. MilborneOne (talk) 19:41, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Specs
I believe {{aircraft specifications}} came before {{aerospecs}}, just my guess. You can not mix the parameters. I suggest copy the {{aircraft specifications}} from the main A-26 article into a new subpage to your User account... double click on User:PeterWD/Sandbox and insert the copy specs... then change all the specs that is needed for Marksman aircraft. Once you got it the way you want, then copy the "new" specs, delete the old Marksman specs ,and insert the "new" specs.
Visit Template:Aircraft specification and Template:Aerospecs for the full details on each template. I have not studied either one to know all the differences yet. Cheers, Lance... LanceBarber (talk) 05:14, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- All newly created aircraft articles are now using {{aerospecs}} as the prefered format. MilborneOne (talk) 08:07, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] ISBN
Peter, Which book or journal are you questioning?? Here the ref/journal sample for you that I've used, with ISBN in the ID parameter and date parameters to use:
- Periodical citation-Almanac - equipment
<ref name="USAFalmanac2007">{{cite journal | last = Mehuron | first = Tamar A., Assoc. Editor | authorlink = | coauthors = | title = '''2007 USAF Almanac''' - Equipment | journal = AIR FORCE MAGAZINE, Journal of the Air Force Association | volume = 90 | issue = 5 | pages = p.62 | date = [[May 2007]] | publisher = Air Force Association | url = http://www.afa.org/magazine/may2007/ | format = | id = ISSN: 0730-6784 | accessdate = }} ''All figures''. </ref>
- ... with reflist
- ^ Mehuron, Tamar A., Assoc. Editor (May 2007). "2007 USAF Almanac - Equipment". AIR FORCE MAGAZINE, Journal of the Air Force Association 90 (5): p.62. Air Force Association. ISSN: 0730-6784. All figures.
- ^ Knaack, Marcelle Size (1988). Post-World War II bombers, 1945-1973. Office of Air Force History. ISBN 0-16-002260-6.
See if this helps. Cheers....Lance ...LanceBarber (talk) 03:51, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Peter, the "ISBN=123456789" should be "|id=ISBN 123456789", I fixed them.
-
- Sample: ,<ref name="knaack">{{cite book|author=Knaack, Marcelle Size|title=Post-World War II bombers, 1945-1973|publisher=Office of Air Force History|year=1988|id=ISBN 0-16-002260-6}}</ref>
See ref # 2 above....Also, ref #9 and 10 needs ISBNs in the A-26 survivors list. Cheers, Lance.... .LanceBarber (talk) 21:37, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

- Peter, Hagedorn ref did not have a matching ("), so I removed the single ("), really was not needed. Please replace the ______ with the actual ISBN as soon as possible. Did the FAA registry have an ISBN??, if so go ahead and add it in. .... we'll "get 'er done, yet!" Lance...LanceBarber (talk) 19:43, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
