Help

Well what i ment by comments is the responses by other users who poll in to decide whether an article is to be kept or deleted from wikipedia once it is nominated.Where they poll in by saying the keywords as 'Keep' and 'delete'. Catherine Deneuve (part two)

Hey, I'm just following up with you regarding the recent dispute over the Catherine Deneuve article. It's been past two days since your two-day discussion proposal; thus, I wanted to inquire as to the next step in this process. IP 70.108.119.24 (talk) hasn't replied to the response I left several days ago in the article's discussion page, even though it has made several edits in other articles since then (and yes, I realize that someone else could have made those edits under the same IP, but I thought I'd point that out anyway). Also, as far as my response goes in the article's talk page, I hope you were now able to understand my arguments regarding the dispute. I apologize if that response was rather long, but I wanted to make sure that there were no misunderstandings. You stated that you would open a request for comment case if no agreement was reached within that two-day discussion proposal; so, I'm wondering if you still plan on doing that, or what the next step you suggest/plan on taking. If you do decide to open a request for comment case, then please be aware that the two versions disputed are:

AND

[2] This one by me.

By the way, as I stated in the discussion page (which I'll simply copy and paste), I noticed a couple of users edited the article since the last reversion by 70.108.119.24 (talk), and now the "Career" heading is missing after the first paragraph. The version [3] as of this posting is almost like the version before this whole ordeal began; the exceptions being the first paragraph, along with the "Career" heading missing. The removal of the "Career" heading may have been mistake, given that it was the user Smartissexy (talk) who made an edit that mirrored that previous version, but added a near-duplicate of the first paragraph.[4] The near-duplicate appeared to look much like the first paragraph that I edited when I was attempting to offer a compromise to this whole ordeal.[5]

HatedOrLoved

I put up a wiki article about HatedOrLoved.com this is a new social bookmarking site that is as real an relevant as other sites such as Mixx, Digg, and other sites that are listed in Wiki. I was still working the article and did not even get a chance to post the hangon tag prior to you deleting it. I would like to know why this article was deleted and if the way I have posted on your talk page is not correct I apologize but I am new to wiki. I do believe the site in question is certainly valid as an inclusion in the wiki.

Hi Peter. Thanks for updating DYK, was just about to start looking for someone to. I was also doing some tweaking of the hooks and was about to change "that Narciso Bassols as Secretariat of Public Education founded Mexico's first systematic sex education program?" to "that Narciso Bassols founded Mexico's first systematic sex education program while Secretary of Public Education?", which I think flows better (and presumably he was never the entire secretariat!). Yes sir, that is User:SimpsonsFan08 though under a new start and acting in good faith. He made a request via the Unblock-en-l mailing list. The agreement was to allow him to create a new account and make it publicly know who he is so that it does not appear to be an abusive sock, the account will be closely monitored and blocked quickly if any abuse is found. Hi Peter - I'm afraid that I've got to object to your closure of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Piha Surf Life Saving Club. You closed the discussion as a merge, and did the merge, despite the fact that all but one of the !votes to merge were made before the article was considerably expanded - an expansion which I intended to continue today. Even as it stands, you ended up "merging" an article of 1700 bytes into one of just 500 - if anything, a reverse merge would have been far more appropriate. Given that the article was still in the process of expansion and had been significantly altered since the original comments to merge (at which time it was only some 600 bytes in length), it would have been far more appropriate to wait until the editors who made those comments had been contacted to see whether theyir opinion on the article had been changed by the recent additions - something which I intended to do after further changes to the article today (which increased the size of the article by another 1200 bytes). Had the two articles remained separate, the one on the surf club would have now been six times the size of the one on the television series and clearly indicated the reasons why it was viable as a separate article. As such, an unmerger is perhaps appropriate. Grutness...wha? 01:06, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

What about something like: WikiMoney, WikiVouchers. As you know, I had the idea for a featured userpage. We could do another type of WikiDesign club, specialising in userpages.
