Jobs in dubai
A tag has been placed on Jobs in dubai, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Jobs in dubai and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:27, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- thanks, although it appears that I have gotten rusty since the warning message is supposed to go on the talk page of the guy who created the article, and the revision history says that ain't you. Its a mute point now, but I have pay more attention to that in the future. Cheers. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:31, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Apology
Hi, I just wanted to apologise for not contacting you regarding the post at the FLC talk page. It never even crossed my mind to do that. As I've said, I have nothing against you, or the lists you've supported, so I hope we can continue to work on Wikipedia without this affecting anything. -- Matthew | talk | Contribs 20:07, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Peer review and FLCs
Hi Peter. If you have the time could you look at Degrassi: The Next Generation and comment at it's peer review, please? It just got given GA status and I want to take it to FAC soon.
- Wow! That PR is a lot to be getting on with! Thank you though, all input to make it the best it can be is appreciated. I'll start addressing the points either today or tomorrow (real life and all!) -- Matthew | talk | Contribs 19:00, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Also I have nominated List of Scripps National Spelling Bee champions (here) and Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office (here) at FLC, and would appreciate any comments you might be able to give there too, please. Thank you. -- Matthew | talk | Contribs 22:17, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Assistence on something
Hey PeterSymonds I really like the McGill article, but I want to improve it past just a few minor edits. I want to add some more details and possibly nominate it for FA. Could you tell me where to start? Thanks --Sunsetsunrise (talk) 00:52, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Tagging year lists
I don't think it should be necessary under normal circumstances to tag such lists as 1952 in Norway with maintenance tags. These are comparable to [[1952]. __meco (talk) 12:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Mineral Interlinking
Hi,
Further to our discussion at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion#Template:Gems_.26_Crystals, what (in your opinion) is the best way to start a project or task-force to create interlinking-templates for all mineral varieties? Should I try to approach the issue via an existing project with a different scope (e.g. Wikipedia:WikiProject_Rocks_and_minerals, which concerns top-of-page infoboxes for individual minerals), or is it best to start a fresh project? Additionally, is it best to use a task-force or Wiki-project? Whilst the scope of the project is relatively small, and may be considered as an extention to other projects, there are significant issues as to how the templates should be constructed. (Classifying minerals is a tricky business, and where you have 10 geologists, you'll have 11 opinions on how it should be done.)
Thanks for your help. Hyperdeath (talk) 22:42, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

More questions. You said this. "You can challenge someone's sources via the talk page, or providing a more scholarly source, but be careful. You can add it to the legacy section, but it would need to be backed up by at least two reliable and scholarly sources."
So. Do I go to the talk page of the person who made the sources to challenge it. Do I do it on my talk page with a think like the help feature. And what is the legacy section and how does it work?
I've really tried to figure out this stuff without asking people but I'm having a tough time. I really want to be able to contribute to Wikipedia though.

THANKS! It means a lot to me that you spent the time to explain how it works. I'm going to gather my sources and make some editing sometime this week. You'll be suprised. It's VERY much a debateable subject.

List of The Bellflower Bunnies episodes
Hi. While this is still going on, I've just made my final touch-ups on the list for a little known French/Canadian children's cartoon called The Bellflower Bunnies. I think I am the only Wikipedian who knows so much, so far, about the show and its original book series material.
I'm also willing to submit this as an FLC in a few days. Tell me what you think of the page, and I'll address concerns soon. --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 00:15, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Simon Bruce
Thank you for your comments. I have tried previously to add notability but have been scolded by orangemike that it sounds too PR or reeks of self promotion. The point is he is a known lyrical child prodigy. I am in no way connected to the young man, he is a friend of my sons, but I as well as many others are amazed by his talents. He deserves a Wiki page to list his ongoing accomplishments in the arts.
I would put more in his bio, but i dont know him that well. When I had Sarah, his friend try, because she knows a lot more, the page was shut down for conflict of interest and was even accused of making a page about ourselves. I am a 43 year old mother of 2, not a PR company. We havent found the happy medium between notability and what is percieved to be stinky self promotion.Sarahmckem (talk) 21:41, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Need help badly...
Excuse me, but I have to ask you something...erm, I kinda got a little complicated in things and accidentally created 2 peer reviews, and they don't seem to be working. So could you tell me how to reverse this? It's for the McGill University article. --Sunsetsunrise (talk) 21:44, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Line of succession to the British Throne/Descendants of Victoria, Princess Royal
Does Line of succession to the British Throne/Descendants of Victoria, Princess Royal serve any purpose in the main space? If not, consider userfying or deleting.
