Welcome to Wikipedia. You might find it helpful to read the Wikipedia policy on conflicts of interest. John Nevard (talk) 13:27, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, just a warning. You will probably find that your edits to your biography will be reverted and checked over individually. If you could supply sources for things you're attributing to yourself, that would be helpful. John Nevard (talk) 14:20, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

- Is this contributor Peter Breggin, and if he is how is that established, or does it need to be established? Further info from other contributors on this issue would be helpful. A potential issue I see here is one of WP:COS This policy does not prohibit editors with specialist knowledge from adding their knowledge to Wikipedia, but it does prohibit them from drawing on their personal knowledge without citing their sources. If an editor has published the results of his or her research in a reliable publication, the editor may cite that source while writing in the third person and complying with our NPOV policy. See also Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest. I've seen recent edits from PeterBreggin and the information posted seems personal in nature. There are insights which I believe can't be attributed to secondary sources. What to do, again further info from other contributors would be appreciated.--scuro (talk) 17:06, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- Greetings Peter. I see you are a new user to Wikipedia. It might be a good idea to identify yourself. Are you really Peter Breggin? It might also be a good idea to start a dialogue on the Peter Breggin talk page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Peter_Breggin. It's best to explain what you are doing and why, especially if many more edits are still to be made. Transparency never hurts. It will also foster discussion which is good. I've noticed that some of your entries push a viewpoint that isn't the majority viewpoint and sometimes could be considered fringe viewpoint. Wikipedia has policy on this and I'm sure contributors would be glad to share their knowledge about policy with you. I'll start a new section at the bottom of talk, it would be great to see you respond. Regards,--scuro (talk) 14:10, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
