[edit] Adoption

Hey, what's up Peter? How was your day? Well, I saw your userpage and I notice that you are seeking adoption from experienced users. If that's the case, then I'd be overjoyed to adopt you! That's if you want me to of course. Think it over first, to see if I'm an okay user to you. Let me know on my talk page when you decide, and sign your post with ~~~~. That automatically produces your name and timestamp. See the above welcome for links and stuff. Oh, and thanks for fixing that mispelling on my user page. :) Much appreciated, good night, and cheers! --Tohru Honda13TalkSign here 01:59, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

So you want me to adopt you? Yeah! Okay, then that's that. I'll start changing userboxes then. ;) Well, to tell you the basics, please, if you have any questions, tell me on my talk page. Be aware that I won't respond immediately, I've got school. It could also depend on time zones (like if we live on opposite ends of the planet). But still, expect a reply from me. Well, that's it from me. Oh, and did you find your answer on signatures? Yes, it's in my preferences (no one can edit your preferences). First you make the code, then copy and paste to your preferences. Read Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages#Customizing your signature. Read the entire page as well :). Cheers! --Tohru Honda13TalkSign here 02:04, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reply to your question

The +92 (or whatever number it was) means how much bytes of information was added. Likewise, -92 means how much bytes of information was deleted. -92,000, notice the color. The deeper red means that a lot of bytes were deleted (usually seen as a blanking by vandals, archiving talk pages, reverting a huge amount of vandalism, etc.). Sorry for the late reply. --Tohru Honda13TalkSign here 22:05, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks :) --Pete Iriarte 22:13, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A possible solution.

Policies, eh? Well, take the Three Revert Rule. Or any policy! If you see the top of the page, there will say something like "This page in a nutshell" (with an image of a nutshell:) and it will tell you, of course, a summary of the entire thing in a sentence or two. If you still find it hard to understand, I'm afraid you'll have to keep reading it. Yeas, I know it can be rather dull at times, I thought like that too. Now, I'm reading more policies thoroughly, because it's worth it. You'll understand it in time. Don't you worry. Was this what you were referring to? 'Cause you mentioned policies and I thought, yeah, policies... But nonetheless, if you still find it difficult...tell me what policy you're having trouble with, I'll break it down for you. Don't you worry, I'll stay up all night to make you understand, gradually, what it means. I hope this has helped you! You know, I think I'll find more ways for you to understand. Hmm... --Tohru Honda13Talk 03:52, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Ah, you're looking for something that doesn't require too much reading? Hm...that's tricky. I would say the easiest is Copyediting. It's just fixing grammar and what not. But still, there are few things that don't require reading. It's the only way to learn, I'm afraid. But I'll still look into it. --Tohru Honda13Talk 04:07, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Copyediting it shall be then, I suppose. :) I do that already. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pete Iriarte (talkcontribs)
Well, that was only a suggestion...but if that's what suits you, then so be it. But I still advise you to read policies and stuff like that sometime. Have fun! Could you help here sometime? It still needs copyediting. I do need help, and it's great practice for you! --Tohru Honda13Talk 04:32, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Sure :) --Pete Iriarte 04:35, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Superb work at copyediting. I've copyedited those little parts before you did, and you corrected my mistakes. Excellent! Well, just wanted to stop by to comment this to you. Keep up the great work! Cheers! --Tohru Honda13Talk 06:43, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip, Pete :). Yeah, I had found that page earlier today, but I decided to read it later on. But thanks either way! Heh, i don't feel ike reading it right now.... :) --Tohru Honda13 00:45, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] You alright?

It's just I haven't heard from you in a while. Just checking up on you. Remember I'm one click away. Cheers, — Tohru Honda13 05:24, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I'm back

It's me, Tohru! I see you've removed your adoptee userbox! Boy, do I feel sad... or was it because you didn't need to be adopted anymore (or just because I left for a day?) Well, If you're still interested in being adopted, put that adopted box back on! :) I created a new account, The Hippie. I haven't heard from you for a while. How's it goin'? The Hippie 00:46, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
