[edit] Wikipedia Salute Proposal

I propose that Wikipedians adopt a salute which is a variant of the Three-finger salute (Scouts). The fingers should be separated forming a 'W'. This would be useful for identifying fellow Wikipedians. I drink outside The George, Soho, London on Friday evenings from 6:30 almost every week^[1] and offer a free^[2] pint to the first few^[3] people who greet me with the Wikipedia salute!.
