Today I put in a few details on the history of Petroecaudor that I found on es.wikipedia.org - I know these aren't primary sources, but the dates the company was founded should be uncontroversial.

Sure to be more contentious are the other parts I've just added under environmental impact and class-action lawsuit. This is an issue I began following after visiting the Oriente region on a trip to Ecuador a few years ago. I've read several books on the Cofal and Huaorani peoples and their efforts to organize against the oil industry. My next project here will be to add links to those.Birdbrainscan 16:56, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
