according to PFA Players' Player of the Year he was player of the year in 1978, but here it says later than that. which is true? F1list 08:48, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

If he was born in '47 and played in the '86 World Cup, then the information at the top saying he made his WC debut at 32 must be wrong.

I don't think Peter's son Samuel is still playing at Burton Albion. This may need to be changed.

I have noticed that most articles on International goalkeepers claim "He is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time". MortimerCat 11:59, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

According to the article on Hinckley United he isn't playing for them anymore Cavie78 16:13, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

The reference in the article is to his son, Sam Shilton, who is still on Hinckley United's books Daemonic Kangaroo 17:32, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
