Delete requested so the page Peter Russell (author) can be moved to this location.
This location once hosted Peter Russell (politician), who died in 1808, but Peter Russell (author) appears to be a significantly more popular figure based on google searches: a google search for '"peter russell" + simcoe' (simcoe was a figure Peter Russell (Canadian Official) was closely involved with) yields 487 hits, and a search for '"Peter Russell" + "global brain"' (the name of one of Peter Russell (Author)'s most popular books) yields: 2520. An additional search of '"peter russell" + consciousness' (one of his main areas of writing) yields 4540. Browsing through those, there don't appear to be any false yields. Additionally Peter Russell (author) is an active writer and speaker in the area of futurism--Nectarflowed 22:48, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)

As far as I know he has not made any political statements in his writings, apart from the sited collection of emails after 9/11. But I do not think these constitute sufficient grounds to conclude his views on George Bush's approach to terrorism. But if there is more evidence... --lutin 00:29, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
