I think the reference to a 'policy of criminalising republicans' is blatant POV and an inaccurate summary of the Northern Ireland policy of the Callaghan government. In any case, Melchett was IIRC in charge of domestic policy in NI and not of security. The paragraph on Melchett's appointment with Burson-Marsteller also smells of POV. Dbiv 20:36, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Details of his GM crops raid corrected (there raid was in 1999, the were charges and it came to court the next year).The Soupdragon 12:33, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
